Graduates will fill open junior cybersecurity analyst positions, further reducing the global diversity and skills gap.
TEL AVIV – June 8, 2023 – ThriveDX is proud to announce the graduation of two diverse groups of students from its Cybersecurity Bootcamp program. The graduates stem from the “Olim” (new immigrants), or refugee cohort, funded by the Israel Innovation Authority and the company’s Part-time bootcamp program which is funded by Israel’s Ministry of Economy, Labor Branch. Both groups are now ready to fill open junior cybersecurity analyst roles across the industry. They represent the core of ThriveDX’s mission to provide new career opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds with little to no experience in technology or cybersecurity, in an effort to reduce the global diversity and skills gap.
ThriveDX hosted a special ceremony at AWS Tel Aviv, attended by both the students and their mentors who guided them through bootcamp and who will now aid them through the job search process.
“ThriveDX’s Cybersecurity Bootcamps are not only preparing trainees with advanced cyber skills, but opening up opportunities for underrepresented groups to work in an industry where a lack of diversity has been problematic,” said Roy Zur, CEO of ThriveDX Enterprise. “This gives companies across Israel access to the talent their workforce is missing, and provides trainees with a jumping-off point for their new careers.”
“Between the course content and our incredible mentors that have been here guiding us through this entire process, I’m leaving bootcamp feeling fully prepared and confident to enter a new career with an entirely new skill set in cybersecurity“, said Adi Brailovsky, ThriveDX Cybersecurity Bootcamp graduate.
ThriveDX’s Cybersecurity Bootcamp was developed by veterans of the elite cyber-intelligence unit of the IDF (unit 8200) to create more accessible career opportunities in cybersecurity. They are taught by industry experts and provide candidates with knowledge in a variety of subjects including network administration, incident handling, forensics, ethical hacking, threat intelligence and more.
Through its network of partnerships, ThriveDX helps to position candidates in open roles, building a new, highly-skilled cybersecurity workforce. The bootcamps encourage underrepresented groups of people in tech, such as women, minorities, and students from the socio-geographic periphery, to apply.
