At ThriveDX, our mission is to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap by fostering a sustainable pipeline of diverse talent.
We believe cybersecurity is more than protecting digital assets—it’s a path for people to transform their careers, and for organizations to unlock growth and opportunity.
As pioneers in cybersecurity training, our programs, led by world-leading tech experts, draw from real-world experience that anticipates tomorrow’s challenges. Ranging from entry-level to advanced courses, our training not only focuses on safeguarding our digital world but also enables individuals to redefine their careers.
2006 Our Founding
Our founders, Gil Adani and Dan Vigdor, are former military officers who saw the need to upskill and reskill adult learners in cybersecurity and other rapidly expanding digital skills/disciplines. Drawing from their experience, Gil and Dan created HackerU, bringing together the world’s leading cybersecurity experts to create a rigorous and skills-based cybersecurity training program focused on real-world training. Since its founding, HackerU has grown to become the leading cybersecurity and digital skills training institution in Israel.
2018
In 2018, they brought their innovative content and training approach to the United States as HackerUSA, opening an office in Coral Gables, Florida. There, we established our first partnership with the University of Miami. We continued to grow key partnerships with top-rated universities and businesses while maintaining our commitment to becoming the world’s leading authority in cybersecurity training.
In 2019, we expanded internationally with our first program in Poland. We signed our first university partner in Singapore in 2021.
2020
The COVID-19 pandemic prompted a digital transformation across the global workforce, leaving organizations in dire need of workers with specific cybersecurity skills and job candidates in need of training. In order to meet people where they were, we segued into all-online learning delivery.
2021 and Beyond
To broaden the horizons of our training solutions, we acquired leading cybersecurity companies Cybint and Lucy in 2021, positioning us as the global leader in cybersecurity training.
National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy
ThriveDX was proud to participate in the White House Cyber Workforce Summit, which laid the foundation for the National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy—a recognition of cybersecurity’s role in protecting the economy and defending the nation.
