What’s the most important measure of a bootcamp’s success? Obviously we want our adult learners to, well, learn. And we want them to feel thrilled (not just satisfied) with the experience. But the most important measure of success? For most learners, it’s whether they can change their career or advance in their current one. That’s why our Career Services team is so crucial.
The Career Services experience starts during the coursework itself, as the learner builds out their portfolio and builds technical skills that will be essential in the hiring process. It kicks into high gear after graduation: training on resume-building, networking, and coaching on how to interview successfully are just a few of the things grads need to get job-ready, and our Career Services team are masters at those.
The ThriveDX Career Services team takes this a step further by employing coaches for technical interview preparation as well. Technical interviews are typically a part of the hiring process in high-tech fields, where it’s necessary to evaluate not just the candidate’s personality and fit but also their technical proficiency. Technical interviews vary in style, but at their core they’re all meant to meticulously test the candidate’s skillset and evaluate their expertise. Technical interviews can be grueling, especially for the unprepared. Our team of technical career coaches can’t make the technical interviews easy, but they can ensure our graduates are fully prepared for the experience. That preparation, plus the rest of the ThriveDX proprietary Career Services program and the valuable technical skills students gain from the bootcamp, make our graduates perfect candidates for jobs in their fields.
